We have two new babies. One is a Xmas prezzie, the other isn't. They both sound wonderful.

It's Back!

I'm giving you advance warning! I'm setting up and doing pre-production testing for a monthly podcast beginning in the new year.
I've done this before, but once a week was too much; once a month will be better. And it's name? 'Salmon Online' of course! Episodes will appear here, on Facebook & Twitter. I will also post an iTunes feed and a regular one for pod catchers everywhere.

Content will be just about anything I can think of that will fit in a 30 to 40 minute time slot.

It's Finished!!

Dave has finished the 'Reveend Retro'. He has made all the adjustments I suggested and here it is! Light, bitey, twangy, and jazzy all in one! David doesn't do vibrato's; so that's the only thing missing.

Larkin' Around....

I've re-written this blog many times, I hope this version stays.
My mate Dave Larkin is a luthier specialising in basses; however he has recently started building guitars, which, much to his surprise (and my amusement), seem to be taking off!!

This guitar is one he is building to my specs. He's a little off the mark in places but he'll get it. I've already played this guitar once, and, if he doesn't sell it, I'll play it again at the first Pine Rivers CMC social in February, or the first Country Links for the New Year! If you decide to buy it, I'll autograph it!!

And I didn't bribe anyone either....... It's a perpetual trophy, so I get to keep it for a year, then hand it to the next worthy.....Looks good in the hutch.
